Richard Phillips is an experienced leader in the fields of children's services and education, currently serving as the Assistant Director of Children's Services at Barnardos Ireland since April 2023. Prior to this role, Richard held various positions including Programme Development Manager at Tivoli Training Centre, where strategic planning and management for adult and youth training were key responsibilities. Previous experience includes Programme Director at Link Community Development International, focusing on educational enhancement in Ireland and Uganda, and CEO of ACET Ireland, leading initiatives in HIV care and prevention. With a diverse background encompassing management, education, and strategic roles in organizations such as DELL and Aid for AIDS, Richard possesses a strong foundation in operational leadership and programme development. Richard holds multiple degrees from The Open University and a BA from Taylor University, along with extensive experience in both non-profit and corporate sectors.
