Gabriel Aldamiz-echevarria has a long and varied work experience. Gabriel began their career in 1997 as an International Observer and Electoral Supervisor for the United Nations in Former Yugoslavia. Gabriel then worked for the Basque Government in the same year as an Associate Director, International Communications. In 2000, they joined IE-Instituto de Empresa Business School as an Associate Director, International Communications. In 2001, they co-founded and became CEO of Saktec Robotics. In 2004, they co-founded Strands and held the roles of VP Growth and Board Director. In 2010, they founded Patents in Fashion e-Commerce & Fashion Taste and served as CEO and Founder. In 2019, they founded Fashion Taste API - Automatically classify and understand clothes and shoppers and served as CEO and Co-founder. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Barkibu as Chief Product Officer.

Gabriel Aldamiz-echevarria received their MBA from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business in 1999, with a specialization in Strategy. Gabriel also earned an International MBA from IE Business School between 1998 and 1999, with a focus in Strategy, Finance, and Marketing.
