Erin Plocinski is an undergraduate pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering at Purdue University, anticipated to graduate in May 2026. Currently serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Robert L. and Terry L. Bowen Laboratory, Erin also holds multiple leadership roles including Civil Engineering Student Ambassador Leader and Office of Dean of Students Front Desk Clerk. Previous experiences include internships in transportation engineering at Strand Associates, Inc.®, and leadership roles in the Multiracial and Transracial Adoptee Club and EPICS Habitat for Humanity. Erin's academic contributions are complemented by work as a First-Year Engineering Academic Success Program Mentor, enhancing student development and performance. A dedicated youth hockey leader, Erin has cultivated teamwork and communication skills over many years with the Indianapolis Youth Hockey Association. Erin graduated with Core 40 with Academic Honors from Hamilton Southeastern High School, achieving Summa Cum Laude distinction.
