Elliot Basner currently serves as General Counsel at BARK since May 2024. Prior to this role, Basner worked at Chewy from March 2017 to April 2024, where responsibilities included Acting General Counsel and Vice President, Associate General Counsel, overseeing the Legal, Risk, and Corporate Responsibility Department. Basner's earlier experience includes a notable tenure at Diageo from 2002 to December 2016, where roles included Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel for Intellectual Property in the Americas, managing significant commercial and legal issues. Basner also held various legal positions at Darby & Darby and Fish & Richardson P.C., and holds a Juris Doctor degree from Cardozo School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Economics from the University of Michigan.
