Anand Chitre is an accomplished leader in the financial services sector with extensive experience in technology and operations. Currently serving as Managing Director at Barclays since January 2020, Anand leads the Capital Markets and Wholesale Lending COO organization in India while overseeing CIO responsibilities for Trade Confirmations, Reconciliations, and Operational process automation. Prior to Barclays, Anand held various roles at J.P. Morgan, including Executive Director in Corporate and Investment Banking and Vice President of Treasury Services Technology. Anand's career began at Patni Computer Services, where responsibilities included project management and technical direction for large-scale development projects. Anand holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics from K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering.
