Amrit David is an accomplished finance professional currently serving as Managing Director and Co-head of FIG Americas, as well as Managing Director and Head of North America Insurance at Barclays since October 2021. Prior to this, Amrit held the position of Managing Director at Barclays Investment Bank from August 2005 to October 2021 and began the career as an Analyst at HSBC Global Banking and Markets from August 2001 to August 2003. Amrit holds a Master of Public Administration in International Development (MPA/ID) from Harvard Kennedy School (2003-2005) and a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Joint Honors in Economics and Finance from McGill University (1997-2001).
