Fernando López Muñoz is an experienced network and security engineer currently employed at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center since March 2020, where responsibilities include national security framework implementation, risk management, and security policy development. Prior to this role, Fernando served as a senior network engineer at Port d'Informació Científica from January 2008 to February 2020, leading a team in implementing high throughput optical private networks, administering various network technologies, and overseeing complex network designs. Earlier career experiences include positions as a junior consultant at Lean Focus and internships in system administration at General Lab and Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya. Fernando holds an Engineer's Degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
