Richard Alles is an experienced professional with a robust background in public service and community affairs. Currently serving as the Director of 9/11 Community Affairs at Barasch McGarry Salzman and Penson since September 2016, Richard previously held multiple roles at the Uniformed Fire Officers Association from September 2007 to August 2016, including Chiefs' Representative, Political & Legislative Director, Pension Trustee, and Financial Secretary. Richard's career in the New York City Fire Department spanned from May 1979 to August 2016, culminating in the position of Deputy Fire Chief. Richard earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from St. John's University from 1975 to 1978.
