Karen has been a primary school teacher and has just completed a 16 year role as a pastor of a local church. She has been on the Council of Baptist Churches of Western Australia for ten years, three of which were spent as Chair, and is on the Morling College board.

Karen’s personal and professional motivation is the conviction that God's love transforms relationships and shapes actions so that they are called and equipped to work for a better everyday world, particularly for those most vulnerable.
