Arie Szatkowski has held various positions throughout their career. Arie served as the President of the Baptist-Stern Joint Venture at the Baptist Memorial Healthcare Corporation and Stern Cardiovascular Foundation since 2017. Prior to that, they were a Cardiologist and the Director of Quality at The Stern Cardiovascular Foundation, Inc. starting in 2013. Arie also worked as the Cardiac Service Line Director, Echocardiography Lab Director, and CHF Champion at Baptist Desoto Hospital since 2012. Arie has also held roles such as a Member of the Board of Directors at Select Health Alliance and the Medical Director of the System Cardiac Service Line at Baptist Memorial Health Care. Before their various leadership positions, Arie completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, where they served as the Chief Fellow in 2003. Arie also completed an Internal Medicine residency at the same institution.
Arie Szatkowski attended Tulane University from 1987 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in History. Following this, they pursued further education at Columbia University from 1991 to 1993, where they obtained a Post-baccalaureate degree in pre-medicine courses, specializing in Pre-Medicine/Pre-Medical Studies. Arie then enrolled at the Joan & Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University from 1993 to 1997, where they completed their medical training and earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
