We are actively looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing team at Banyan Software in our Chennai Developer Hub. If you meet the following criteria, we would love to hear from you!

Job Description:

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Banyan Software, reporting to the Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will be responsible for evaluating and screening potential candidates to fill vacant positions across Banyan’s portfolio companies. This is a highly dynamic role that involves sourcing, stakeholder management, and owning the full recruitment cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings
  • Take ownership of the candidate experience, ensuring clear communication, feedback, and timely process advancement
  • Develop job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements
  • Perform reference checks as needed
  • Facilitate the offer process by working closely with HR, Hiring Managers, and Directors
  • Manage onboarding and new hire process
  • Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices
  • Manage the interview, selection, and closing process
  • Track and report on recruitment metrics
  • Contribute to ad-hoc TA projects and program development

Qualifications for success:

  • Minimum of 6Ìýyears of experience as a Technical Recruiter
  • Extensive ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, behavioral, and technical assessments)
  • Ability to organize skills assessment centers (in-tray activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc.)
  • Familiarity with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
  • Strong preference for candidates with experience using Greenhouse
  • Ability to create LinkedIn projects and leverage tools such as Naukri for a diverse talent pool
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and advisory capabilities
  • Ability to take and provide feedback effectively
  • Strong decision-making skills
