Marvelous Mokome currently serves as the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at The BANKSETA, a position held since October 2020. Prior to this role, Marvelous worked at the Department of Correctional Services from September 2019 to September 2020 as the Deputy Director of Risk Management, focusing on various risk assessments and fostering a risk management culture. Marvelous has over five years of experience in risk management at the Unemployment Insurance Fund, where roles included Risk Officer, concentrating on operational and fraud risk management, and an internship in risk management. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma and an Advanced Programme in Risk Management, as well as a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of South Africa and further studies at Tshwane University of Technology.
