Jessica Ward is a skilled software engineer with a strong background in developing and enhancing distributed systems. Currently serving as the Lead Software Engineer at BankruptcyWatch since October 2022, Jessica has led the migration of the platform from Drupal to NextJS and transitioned to a microservice architecture. Previously, at CounselKit and Amazon Web Services, Jessica contributed to the development of Amazon Aurora, focusing on its global database system and Managed Planned Failover feature. Early career experience includes internships at Amazon and TOAD.ai, where Jessica employed machine learning and API integrations for optimizing data usage and traffic analysis. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
