Valentine Ojangole is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in banking and financial management. Currently serving as Chief Accountant and Head of Banking and Back Office Operations at the Bank of Uganda since February 2018, Valentine has previously held significant roles including Chief Financial Officer at Rwanda Development Bank and Finance Manager at East African Development Bank. With a strong foundation in finance, having served as Head of Finance at Fina Bank Uganda Ltd, and expertise in management reporting and business analytics at Barclays Bank (U) Ltd, Valentine has also contributed to academia as an Associate at Uganda Management Institute and Assistant Lecturer at Makerere University Business School. Ojangole's educational qualifications include an Executive MBA from Eastern and Southern Management Institute, a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Science from Makerere University, and an FCCA from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
