Joshua Begley is a Financial Crime Senior Analyst at Bank of New Zealand, having transitioned into this role in December 2021 within the Financial Crime Operations department. Responsibilities include halting the flow of illicit funds and ensuring compliance with regulatory due diligence. Prior to this role, Joshua served as a Financial Crime Associate, focusing on compliance with the AML/CFT Act 2009. Prior experience includes working as an Operations Assistant at New Zealand Document Exchange Limited and as a Laundry Assistant at Ryman Healthcare. Joshua also gained retail experience as a Retail Assistant at John Eccles Coins, Stamps and Postcards. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology and Geography from Victoria University of Wellington, completed between 2018 and 2021.
