Alex Dickson is an experienced finance and analytics leader currently serving as the General Manager of Analytics & Insights at Bank of New Zealand since September 2016. In this role, Alex oversees analytics support for various departments, managing a team of approximately 100 data science and insights specialists. Prior to this, Alex held several key positions at Bank of New Zealand, including Divisional Chief Financial Officer and Head of Finance for the Customer, Product & Services division. Previously, Alex worked at Westpac New Zealand Limited, where responsibilities included leading pricing strategy, managing pricing technologies, and supporting balance sheet and liquidity management activities. Alex's extensive background encompasses a wide range of roles in finance, analytics, and strategic insights within the banking sector.
