Akarshan Raj currently serves as a Generalist Officer Scale-2 at Bank of Maharashtra since June 2023. Previously, Akarshan worked as a Relationship Manager at State Bank of India from April 2022 to January 2023, focusing on portfolio management for ultra high-net-worth individuals, primarily retired senior officials and bureaucrats. Prior to that, Akarshan held the position of Collections Manager at HDFC Bank from March 2020 to February 2022, overseeing the collection of agricultural loans. Akarshan began a career in banking as a Sales Manager at ICICI Bank, where responsibilities included managing gold loan sales across multiple branches from November 2015 to March 2020. Academic qualifications include a postgraduate diploma in banking and finance from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Dubai, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Cimage College.
