Abid Hussain has extensive experience in the banking sector, having worked at The Bank of Khyber since 2009, where current roles include Divisional Head of Policy Procedure & FRM, leading various departments related to AML, CFT, and compliance. Prior positions at The Bank of Khyber include Vice President and Executive Compliance, where responsibilities involved acting as chief compliance officer, and head of branch compliance internal control, focusing on AML, KYC, and regulatory issues. Abid Hussain also served as VP in Executive Banking Operations, analyzing branch performances and internal control deviations. Earlier in their career, Abid Hussain worked as an assistant at Habib Bank Limited from 1986 to 1988. Abid Hussain holds an MBA in Finance from the Institute of Management Studies at the University of Peshawar and completed DAIBP Part I & Stage II at the Institute of Bankers Pakistan.
