Tom Shropshire serves as the General Counsel and Company Secretary at Diageo plc, a leading global company in the beverage alcohol industry, since June 2021. In addition, Shropshire holds the position of Non-Executive Director at the Bank of England and has been the Chair of Comic Relief since May 2018, previously serving as Trustee and Senior Independent Trustee. Since October 2022, Shropshire has also been a member of the Board of Trustees at New York University School of Law. Previously, Shropshire was a Partner at Linklaters from October 1998 to April 2021, where responsibilities included being the Global Head of the US Practice and a member of the Executive Committee. Educational qualifications include a J.D. from New York University School of Law, an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, and a B.A. in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Southern California.
