Gary Smith has extensive experience in technology management and service delivery, currently serving as the Technology Service Manager and Team Leader of the Collaboration Team at the Bank of England since September 2015. In this role, Gary focuses on selecting, delivering, and improving digital services to enhance collaboration and productivity across the organization. Prior to this position, Gary held the role of Messaging Team Lead at Clyde & Co LLP, overseeing the global messaging strategy and team development from November 2013 to September 2015. Earlier in the career, Gary worked at Herbert Smith Freehills for 13 years as a Senior Messaging Analyst, responsible for the design and implementation of the firm's messaging infrastructure. Additionally, since April 2022, Gary has taken on the role of Personal Trainer at Forging Fitness Personal Training. Educational background includes attendance at Trinity Comprehensive from September 1981 to June 1986.
