Sofia Gomez de Silva is an experienced professional in data analytics and strategy, currently serving as the Analytics Enablement Lead at the Bank of Canada since August 2022. Prior to this role, Sofia held multiple positions at CIBC, including Senior Consultant in Data Analytics for Internal Audit and various consulting roles focused on intelligent process automation and payment services. Sofia's entrepreneurial experience as CFO at Multiverse Computing involved developing financial models and strategic plans for startup founders. Additional leadership roles include Vice President of Finance at the Rotman Business Technology Association and Supervisor of Operations Audit at CONSAR, where significant contributions to biometric technology implementation and regulatory innovations were made. Sofia holds an MBA from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management and a B.S. in Business Informatics from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
