Kevin Tracol is a seasoned economist currently serving as a Senior Economist in the Monetary & Economic Department at the Bank for International Settlements since October 2021. Previously, Kevin held multiple roles at the European Central Bank, including Team Lead in the Banking Supervision division and Expert in Banking Supervision, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing comprehensive assessments for major euro area banks. Kevin's career also includes a position as a Quantitative Risk Expert at the Autorité de contrôle prudentiel et de résolution and as a Quantitative Economist at the Banque de France. Early professional experience includes internships at INSEE and OECD, focusing on statistical programming and economic surveys. Academically, Kevin earned a PhD in Economics from the Paris School of Economics and holds advanced degrees in Data Sciences, Econometrics, and Economics Analysis and Policy.
