Dr. Wiesław Rozłuckiis a graduate of the Foreign Trade Department of the Warsaw School of Economics (1970). He holds a PhD in economic geography. In 1990-1994 he was an advisor to the Minister of Finance, director of the Capital Market Development Department at the Ministry of Privatization and a member of the Securities Commission. He was the president of the WSE management board from its founding in 1991 for 5 terms of office until 2006. He was also the chairman of the supervisory board of the National Depository for Securities and a member of the governing bodies of the World Federation of Exchanges and the Federation of European Exchanges. He is actively involved in the corporate governance movement in Poland. He is a co-founder and chairman of the program board of the Polish Institute of Directors, a member of supervisory boards of large public companies, and provides strategic and financial consulting.
