Sharmin Alam is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Commissioner for Taking Affidavits and Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant at Aclara Immigration Services Inc. since January 2021. Sharmin has been an Internationally Trained Lawyer with the Bangladesh Bar Council since 2014 and previously held the position of Health Safety Environment Consultant at Enhesa from October 2020 to August 2022. Additional experience includes event management with Global Lawyers of Canada-Ontario Chapter, volunteering with the Centre for Immigrant and Community Services, and an internship at Mamann, Sandaluk & Kingwell LLP, where involvement in various immigration law areas was gained. Sharmin holds multiple degrees in law, including an LL.M. in International Commercial Law from Cardiff University and a diploma as an Accredited Immigration Consultant from Herzing College.
