Karim Hajjaji serves as the Global Chief Operating Officer for Corporate & Investment Banking at Banco Santander since April 2014, overseeing wholesale operations across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Previously, Karim was the Global COO and CFO for the GIMS Division at Société Générale, where responsibilities included management of private banking, asset management, multi-assets brokerage, and securities services across Europe, Asia, and the U.S. Prior to that role, Karim was the Global CFO at Société Générale - GIMS, focusing on the strategic supervision of accounting and management control functions, as well as treasury and liquidity management. Karim also held the position of Regional CFO of SG Americas at Société Générale - SGCIB, responsible for financial operations in the U.S., Brazil, Canada, and Latin America, while participating in regional executive committee decisions and overseeing M&A activities. Karim holds an engineering degree in Mathematics, Economics, and Statistics from ENSAE.
