Etienne Butruille is an accomplished sustainability professional with extensive experience in climate and environmental management. Currently serving as Climate & Nature Director and Deputy Global Head of Sustainability at Banco Santander since June 2015, Butruille previously held a directorial role in Governance, Risk & Compliance - Sustainability at KPMG España from September 2004 to June 2015. Additionally, contributions to The Federation of European Accountants included roles as Deputy Chair of the ESG Reporting Task Force and Chair of the Sustainability Group. Earlier experience includes engineering positions at American Cyanamid and Pyosa, along with consultancy at White Young Green. Academic credentials include an MSc in Business Strategy & Environmental Management from the University of Bradford, an MSc in Environmental Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
