Avi Alkalay is an experienced professional in machine learning engineering and data science with a diverse background spanning several key roles. Currently serving as the Machine Learning Industrialization Manager at Banco PAN, Avi is responsible for enhancing the robustness of machine learning models related to credit scoring and default risk. Previous experience includes leading machine learning initiatives at Loft, where Avi pioneered the practice of industrializing machine learning, and teaching machine learning and data science at Digital House Brasil. Avi has also held various significant positions at CI&T and IBM, where responsibilities ranged from leading data initiatives for Bradesco Seguros to advising NGOs on content strategy and web technologies. Avi holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and a specialization in Data Science from Digital House Brasil.
