Karen Murillo Chaves is a UX/UI designer with extensive experience in the banking and graphic design sectors. Currently serving as a Diseñadora UX UI at Banco Central de Costa Rica since March 2024, previous roles include UX UI Design Lead and UX/UI Designer at Banco Promerica de Costa Rica S.A. from February 2021 to April 2024 and April 2019 to February 2021, respectively. Karen's career began as a Graphic Designer at Grupo Nación, followed by significant positions at Fiserv, Vertiv, and Advision Development, demonstrating a strong background in web design, graphic design, and digital marketing. Academically, Karen holds a Master's degree in Design Thinking and Product Development from OBS Business School and multiple certifications in UX design and web development.
