Oana Codescu has over two decades of experience in the IT sector, primarily at BCR since October 2003. Oana holds various roles, including IT System Analyst, Senior IT System Developer in the Fraud Prevention and Investigation Department, and Senior IT Fraud Risk Specialist in the Financial Crime Prevention Division, focusing on evaluating fraud risk and implementing anti-fraud systems. Oana's responsibilities include developing a Management Information System for data collection and reporting, as well as optimizing testing processes and conducting functional testing for the Core Banking System. Prior experience includes serving as a Programming Analyst for the Romanian Air Force, where Oana was responsible for website design and maintenance, system analysis, and presentations. Oana's educational background includes a degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Bucharest and a Master’s in Banking and Securities Management from The Nicolae Titulescu University.
