Gaurav Garg is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in engineering, research, and career development. Currently serving as a Career Development Consultant at Banaras Hindu University since August 2015, Gaurav focuses on cultivating an entrepreneurial ecosystem to encourage students to pursue entrepreneurship. Prior roles include Materials and Corrosion Engineer at Petrofac, where Gaurav specialized in material selection and corrosion control, and Corrosion Researcher at Nalco Technology Center, conducting advanced studies to protect oil and gas pipelines. Gaurav led the successful student movement to convert IT-BHU to IIT(BHU) and has actively participated in various international forums and initiatives, including facilitating for Jagriti Yatra and representing at the Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations. Gaurav holds a B.Tech in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT(BHU), completed in 2010.
