Turner launched Banana Capital in 2021. Prior, he ran all venture capital investing at Gelt VC and invested their second fund. Prior to Gelt, Turner was a member of the investment team at Afore Capital, where he invested in pre-seed companies. Turner previously helped manage a $1.6b endowment, and prior to that worked in credit, private equity, and corporate finance.
Turner graduated from the Seidman College of Business at Grand Valley State University in 2014 with a degree in Accounting and Finance and has passed Level 2 of the CFA exam. He’s a longstanding mentor of the Seidman College of Business Professional Mentorship Program and lives in Ann Arbor with his wife and daughters.
