Orin Hardy serves as the Director at Bamboo Pure since January 2022, focusing on bamboo construction for a sustainable future, and also leads a bespoke bamboo construction company in Bali. As a co-founder of The Kul Kul Farm and a director at Bamboo U since February 2015, Orin supports innovative build and design education linked to Green School Bali and Ibuku, teaching the use of bamboo in construction. Previous roles include Trustee at The Green School Bali and Project Director for Ibuku Gardens, where Orin integrated international expertise with local knowledge for ecological landscaping projects. With experience as Outreach Coordinator at The Flaming Eggplant Cafe and as an Indonesian Translator on the Green School building site, Orin's educational background includes a BA in Environmental and Sustainability Studies from The Evergreen State College and Regenerative Design training from the Regenerative Design Institute.
