Loretta Lam has extensive experience in business development and executive search, currently serving in a business development role at Balyasny Asset Management L.P. since April 2022. Prior to this position, Loretta held the title of Head of Research at Carwood Smith for a brief period and was the Director & Head of EMEA OGiQ at Options Group from February 2016 to December 2021, where additional responsibilities included serving as Vice President of Executive Search. Loretta's earlier career includes consulting roles in executive search at EC1 Partners Ltd and Kaizen Finance, as well as a role as a researcher at Microsoft, where research contributions supported the Digital Crime Unit and informed significant conferences. Loretta holds a Master of Science in International Business and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Nottingham.
