John Timotheou has a robust background in technology strategy and management, currently serving as the Head of Technology Strategy and Chief Information Officer at Balyasny Asset Management L.P. With previous experience as Co-CIO, John has also held the position of Director of Front Office Technology at Point72 Asset Management and held various roles, including Director, Associate Director, and Vice President at SAC Capital. Early in the career, John worked as a Software Developer at ISO. Education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University at Buffalo, obtained between 1994 and 1998.
