Harald Mosoarca is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in data engineering and software development. Currently serving as Tech Lead Manager for Commodities Data at Balyasny Asset Management L.P. since April 2022, Harald previously held positions at T. Rowe Price as Lead Software Engineer and VP, where focus was on building a data ingestion platform for Equity and Fixed Income reference data. Harald's expertise in machine learning was demonstrated at Infinity Works while leading the development of a machine learning platform for Sainsbury's loyalty scheme, and in previous roles at NHS Digital, both in data engineering and development of a national pricing and analytics platform. Early career experiences include engineering solutions for emergency services and web scraping at Seed Software and Netex Consulting, respectively. Harald holds a Master of Science in Distributed Computing with Finance from the University of Hull and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from West University of Timisoara.
