Dan Horowitz is currently the Public Relations Coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens. Prior to that, they were an intern for the Philadelphia Eagles and Brooklyn Nets.
At the Eagles, Dan was responsible for creating and updating player bios, weekly game notes, and various press materials. Dan also wrote press releases and media alerts related to off-the-field initiatives, including weekly community events. Dan credentialed local and national media, responded to interview requests, and coordinated interviews with players and local/national media. Dan researched statistics using SportRadar360 and Pro-Football-Reference, and transcribed daily pressers, distributing transcripts to Eagles employees and local/national media.
At the Nets, Dan assisted in production of media guides, game notes, player bios, and press packets. Dan also created a daily briefing of news clippings to help maintain the team’s daily sports information. Dan analyzed, tracked and updated statistics for inclusion in game notes. Dan facilitated post-practice media sessions and pre-game/post-game availabilities involving players and coaches. Lastly, they prepared Barclays Center for Brooklyn Nets games.
Dan Horowitz graduated from Ithaca College with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Media. Dan then went on to study at the University of Sydney.
