Sony Gordien has a diverse work experience spanning over 14 years. Starting in 2007, Sony worked as a Junior Business Analyst at Total for a year. In 2008, they were an Assistant to the CFO at Selective Beauty for six months. In 2011, Sony joined Radio France as a Cost Controller, where they worked until 2013. From 2013 to 2016, Sony was a Controller at LANVIN. They then moved on to Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle, Estée Lauder Companies, where they worked as a Financial Controller until 2018. Sony's most recent position is at Balmain, where they held the roles of Senior Corporate Controller (2018-2020), Group Controlling Manager (2020-2022), and currently Group Finance Project Manager.

Sony Gordien attended Lycée Montaigne from 2003 to 2005, where they completed Classe Préparatoire in the field of Voie économique. Following this, from 2005 to 2009, they pursued a Master's degree in Management with a specialization in Finance and Controlling at EDHEC Business School.
