George Papanier became President Retail, µþ²¹±ô±ô²â’s land-based casino business, on October 1, 2021. His association with µþ²¹±ô±ô²â’s began in 2004 when he served as the Chief Operating Officer, an appointment he held until February 2011 when he was then appointed to the role of President and CEO of µþ²¹±ô±ô²â’s. Prior to joining µþ²¹±ô±ô²â’s, Mr. Papanier served in the same capacity for Peninsula Gaming with properties in Iowa and Louisiana, from 2000-2004, and as COO for Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, New Jersey from 1997 – 2000. Both positions involved strategic and tactical planning for the resorts and supervision of major renovation and construction projects. He was also active in evaluating potential acquisitions and the development of projects for the two organizations.
