Brian Vernarsky serves as the Chief Technology Officer at BallerTV since September 2019, where responsibilities include managing the app for video capture and processing at youth sporting events, and planning long-term technology projects. Prior roles include Manager of Autonomous Systems, where significant achievements involved reducing crash rates by over 80% and enhancing performance for new features like real-time ball detection, as well as Lead Computer Vision Engineer, where the transition of code systems was completed swiftly post-acquisition. Vernarsky previously held positions in research and teaching at Carnegie Mellon University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, contributing to physics research and education. Vernarsky holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University and dual bachelor's degrees in Physics and Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
