Foroughazam A. is a seasoned professional in the field of chemical engineering with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as a Senior Research Engineer at Ballard Power Systems since May 2017, Foroughazam A. leads anode electrode development initiatives. Previous roles include Project Scientist at Blue-O Technology and Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, focusing on fabrication processes and ceramic carbon electrodes for PEM fuel cells, respectively. Foroughazam A. completed a PhD in Chemical Engineering at Université Laval, where research encompassed the synthesis and characterization of various electrocatalysts. Early career experiences include roles as a Research Assistant at the University of Tehran and a Process Engineer at Mabna Group, along with an internship in pharmaceutical product analysis.
