Derek Bowen is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in systems analysis and data management, currently serving as a Senior Systems Analyst and Enterprise Data and Systems Specialist at Ball State University since June 2018. Key accomplishments include leading initiatives to enhance SIS data quality and serving as the technical expert for major enterprise applications. Previously, Derek held various roles at Anderson University, including Programmer/Analyst and Systems Administration Intern, where foundational skills in technology infrastructure were established. Derek's entrepreneurial spirit began at a young age with the establishment of Bowen Lawn Care, coupled with diverse work experiences in technical support and event production. Derek holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems from Anderson University, complemented by a minor in Entrepreneurship.
