David Neubert, MD has an extensive work experience in the field of emergency medicine. David is currently serving as the Director of Prehospital Medicine at Mount Sinai South Nassau, a position they assumed in August 2022. Dr. Neubert has also held various leadership roles in several community organizations, including serving as the Medical Director for Huntington Community First Aid Squad since May 2023, Deputy Medical Director for Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps since December 2022, and Medical Director for Wantagh-Levittown Volunteer Ambulance Corps since September 2016. Additionally, they have served as the Medical Director for Baldwin Fire Department since May 2018 and Island Park Fire Department since January 2021. Dr. Neubert has also contributed to the field on a larger scale, serving as a Board Member at Large for the Physician's Section of the International Association of Chiefs of Police since October 2016. David started their career as a Medical Officer for DMAT NY-4 at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) in November 2005 and later became the Chief Medical Officer for Point Lookout-Lido Fire Department in December 2015. Finally, Dr. Neubert has served as the Medical Director for South Hempstead Fire Department since September 2016.
David Neubert, MD completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at Williams College from 1995 to 1999. David then attended the University of Rochester from 1999 to 2003, where they earned their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. Dr. Neubert has obtained several additional certifications in the field of Emergency Medicine, including Emergency Medicine Certification in 2007, Emergency Medical Services Certification in 2013, and a Subspecialty Certification in Emergency Medical Services in 2013. Additionally, they obtained an Emergency Medicine Certification from the American Board of Emergency Medicine in 2017.
