Martina Trini has extensive experience in hydrogen technology and energy engineering, currently serving as the Hydrogen Technology Manager at Baker Hughes since September 2021. Prior to this role, Martina held a researcher position at Fondazione Bruno Kessler from September 2019 to August 2021 and was a Ph.D. student at DTU - Technical University of Denmark from September 2016 to September 2019, where a Doctor of Philosophy was earned in characterizing and modeling microstructure evolution in Ni/Yttria stabilized zirconia hydrogen. Additional academic contributions include visiting researcher roles at Northwestern University and the University of Michigan in early 2018, a junior researcher position at Università di Bologna in mid-2016, and an internship at Hera in 2015 focused on technical report analysis and process diagrams. Martina's educational background encompasses a Master's degree in Energy and Nuclear Engineering as well as a Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering, both from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna.
