Rafael Callejas, PhD, PE, serves as a Process Safety Manager at BakerRisk since June 2015, where responsibilities include supervision of consequence and risk analyses. Prior to this role, Rafael worked as a Technical Safety Consultant at Mustang Engineering from August 2012 to June 2015, conducting technical safety studies such as quantitative risk analysis and fire and explosion assessments for both offshore and onshore projects. Rafael's academic background includes a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University, where research focused on molecular dynamics simulations for nanocatalyst design in fuel cells, and previous positions included research assistant roles at Texas A&M University and Instituto Tecnologico de Celaya, where Rafael earned a master's and bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
