Maarten Gnoth is an accomplished Managing Director at Hinterland Management, focusing on sustainable investment development in emerging markets since October 2019. In addition to this role, Maarten serves as an External Advisor for Bain & Company and holds positions as Senior Consultant and Senior Advisor for AWR Lloyd and Syngenera, respectively. Maarten's extensive experience in the biomass and renewable energy sectors includes advisory roles with Indufor Ltd. and previous leadership roles with Perpetual Next and various biomass companies in Cameroon and Australia. Maarten’s educational background includes a Master of Science in International Technological Development Studies from Eindhoven University of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Automotive Engineering Technology from HAN University of Applied Sciences.
