Alex co-founded MAQU, recognized as Peru's first marketplace for digitizing the traditional equipment selling and renting market, which was listed among the top 100 best startups by Forbes Peru in 2023. Alex's background includes serving as a Senior Analyst in the Supply Chain Management Division at Volcan Cia Minera SAA, managing contracts and procurement valued over $300 million. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, a Double Degree Diploma in International Business and Business Analytics from CENTRUM PUCP, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Lima.
