Marlon Avellan is a Maintenance Reliability Engineer at BAE Systems, Inc. since January 2022, focusing on machine reliability through RCM methodologies and predictive technologies, while managing predictive maintenance programs and standardizing best practices. Previously, Marlon held various engineering roles at Exelon Nuclear from July 2014 to January 2022, including Engineering Duty Manager and Reliability Engineer, where responsibilities included troubleshooting, predictive maintenance optimization, and oversight of valve maintenance teams. Marlon participated in Exelon's Emerging Leader Program, demonstrating leadership potential, and earlier gained experience as a Research & Teaching Assistant at Rutgers University and as a Performance Engineer Intern at GE. Marlon earned a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University.
