Senior IT Security Compliance Analyst at Badger Meter

Benjamin C. has extensive work experience in the field of IT security and auditing. Benjamin is currently working at Badger Meter as a Senior IT Security Compliance Analyst, a role they started in October 2021. Prior to this, Benjamin worked at AgriBank as a Senior IT Auditor from June 2019 to October 2021.

Before joining AgriBank, Benjamin worked at UnitedHealth Group for four years, from September 2015 to June 2019. During their time there, they held the positions of Senior IT Security Consultant and Senior IT Security Auditor. In these roles, they were responsible for developing vendor information security risk assessment questionnaires, leading teams in the development of assessment test cases, managing functional enhancement requests for eGRC and External Vendor Portal, and performing vendor information security risk assessments on various organizations.

Prior to their tenure at UnitedHealth Group, Benjamin worked as an IT Risk Consultant at Modis for a brief period in 2015. Before that, they were employed at the Minnesota Department of Revenue from June 2010 to June 2015. At the Department of Revenue, they held the positions of Senior Internal Auditor and Senior Tax Auditor. As a Senior Internal Auditor, Benjamin conducted a wide range of internal audits, including computer systems audits and function/process audits. In their role as a Senior Tax Auditor, they conducted field audits and participated in various activities related to tax audits.

Benjamin's earliest work experience was as a Mortgage Loan Specialist at Wells Fargo/Robert Half from June 2009 to June 2010.

Benjamin C. obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. Benjamin studied at the university from 2003 to 2008. During the same period, they also earned a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the same institution. Benjamin has further enhanced their education and obtained additional certifications. In 2012, they became a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) through the Minnesota Board of Accountancy. In 2017, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) certification from ISACA. Recently, in November 2021, Benjamin achieved the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
