Gonzalo Rodríguez Giménez is a skilled software engineer and team leader with extensive experience in technology development and project management. Currently serving as Team Leader at BacklotCars since September 2021, Gonzalo manages a team of six direct reports and demonstrates the maturity to oversee higher-level Individual Contributors. Prior experience includes roles as Sr Software Engineer at WyeWorks, where responsibilities encompassed architectural decisions and the full software development lifecycle across technologies like Phoenix/Elixir, RoR, React, and Typescript, and as Full Stack Developer at IBM, where Gonzalo developed MVPs using IBM Cloud, Python, NodeJs, and Javascript. Gonzalo holds a Master of Software Engineering from Universidad de la República and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Facultad de Ingenieria UDELAR, along with a technical diploma in system administration from Universidad ORT Uruguay.
