James Bicknell has been in the media industry for over 20 years. James started their career as an office manager and was promoted to a board member and the number two position in their company within eight years. James then moved to BackLite International where they were in charge of outdoor advertising businesses in Hungary, Croatia, Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, Thailand, Egypt, Jordan and Abu Dhabi.
James successfully increased company sales by 100% within one year at BackLite. James helped to increase revenue from EURO 5 million to Euro 20 million per year over seven years. James introduced staff appraisal and monthly target based pay, which increased productivity and lowered costs at BackLite. James also increased the contact rate for sales staff by 200 % with the design and implementation of sales control and contact system. This system was later rolled out worldwide.
James negotiated and purchased a Digital Media Company in the UK, reformed the business, increased sales and successfully sold the business to a larger UK Digital Media Company. James is now the Executive Director at BackLite Media.
